It turned out to be a beautiful for a trip to Tokyo this Monday. I left Okegawa at 9:40 and returned at 3:30. I walked…a lot! First I went to Shinjuku Gyoen by subway. However reservations were required to enter so I cancelled that and walked back to Shinjuku station. It brought back fond memories of when I first moved to Japan so long, long ago. (I studied two years at a Japanese language school near here.) Next I walked to the Tokyo Tocho: The Tokyo metropolitan government office building. At the 45th floor there is a nice panoramic view of the surrounding areas. And it was not very crowded at all. I walked back to Shinjuku station and took the train back to Okegawa. It was a nice adventure.
